What do you Stumble Upon?

Luckily I didn't discover it until last year. Luckily it hasn't taken over my free time like video games have....but it's real close. Stumbleupon.com is one of the greatest procrastination tools of all time, next to Facebook, Twitter, and XBox. If you haven't curiously google searched this "stumbling fad" I suggest you don't. I'm almost positive that all my fellow classmates have heard of stumble. In fact I'm willing to bet at least half of them have Stumble Upon already downloaded on their computer. I for one didn't download the toolbar until earlier this year during Econ 101 when I couldn't take the pain any longer. Although I previously suggested not looking into Stumble Upon, I can't help but want to share with all of you the enjoyment and satisfaction of a successful hour of procrastinating that stumbling can bring you. I myself have stumbled approximately twelve times since I began writing this blog, and I'm only a hundred words into what I have to share with you today. So anyways, what I want all of you to do is open up a new tab, or use the one your on currently if you're tired of hearing what I have to say, type in stumble upon, select your preferences and stumble for hours upon hours. To those of you who already have stumble upon you need to keep clicking that little SU in the top right hand corner of your screen and keep clicking until you can't be entertained anymore, which is actually quite difficult to do. So I opened this blog up for one so that if you have been sitting through class actually listening to your professor lecture you or you've stalked all your friend's friends on facebook, and completed every Sporcle quiz, you now have something to do for the next four years of class and beyond. I also wanted everyone to share with me, if they so choose some of the funniest and entertaining things they have seen on Stumble Upon over the years. If you can't remember what the link was to that adorable miniature hippopotamus just stumble some more until you find an even cuter animal picture. I'm also interested to see what yall like to stumble upon. For me I enjoy the occasional video game, an interesting cartoon, and of course the cute animal pictures. Here are a few things that I just found while stumbling during the course of writing this blog.

...Enjoy not doing your homework for the next couple hours, and try to avoid getting mono!

  1. Thanks for that... I created an account a couple weeks ago and hadn’t had that one spree where I stumble for a couple of hours until last night. I got most of my homework done and then watched the state game.I think it’s pretty pathetic that the first college basketball game filmed in China was this game. I mean we're not even rivals. They suck. Anyways, last night I was on StumbleUpon for literally 4 hours. From halftime of the game until 2 in the morning I was stumbling upon all sorts of vulgar cartoons, hysterical youtube videos, and different ways to make homemade wine. Let me give you some insight into my night last night.

That last one had me laughing for a pretty long time. But I agree, this website is DEATH to my GPA. I need to figure out a way to block it so I can actually get some quality work done.
